Bankruptcy

We represent client in all phases of personal and commercial bankruptcies. Specifically, we assist clients with the following types of filings: Chapter 7 and 13 personal bankruptcies, Chapter 7 and 11 business bankruptcies and Chapter 11 personal bankruptcy, when appropriate. Complimented by the Firm’s highly accomplished Litigation Group, the Bankruptcy Group is capable of handling litigation matters which arise in many bankruptcy cases. Similarly, work-outs often present an opportunity to minimize legal costs while maximizing recoveries through the restructuring of debt outside of court supervision. The Bankruptcy Group has substantial experience in representing clients in working out troubled loans, including short sales, negotiating loan modification and extension agreements, forbearance agreements and deed in lieu of foreclosure agreements.
