Lynn F. Miller

Lynn F. Miller brings her prior experiences of professional activism and leadership in the fields of library service and women’s equality to her legal responsibilities. Her undergraduate education at Barnard College, and Rutgers Law School in Newark, NJ, from which she graduated with high honors, prepared her for practice in family law, estate planning, individual rights, civil litigation, entertainment law and arts law, and general practice. Awarded an AV® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, she is a member of The Order of Coif, the national law honor society.

An author of several books and articles in women’s studies, the visual arts and theater, Lynn possesses a unique viewpoint which frames her work. Her role as a former Rutgers University faculty member introduced her to the areas of copyright, contract and employee relations law.

Lynn served for several years on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on the Status of Women in the Courts. This Committee advises the New Jersey Supreme Court on rule changes needed to ensure gender equity for women as attorneys, litigators, judges and other personnel in the New Jersey courts.

In addition to having been a Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association for six years, Lynn is a past Chair of the Individual Rights and Women in the Profession Sections and the Consumer Law Committee of the Association. She is on the Board of Directors of the Women in Profession Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Lynn’s is a Past- President of the Middlesex County Bar Association (2007-08) . She recently completed a term as a trustee of the Middlesex County Bar Foundation.
