James Browning

James is a RAM Law Associate. His specialties are Insurance Defense Law and Personal Injury Law. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey as well as New York.

James finished college in less than four years, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Rutgers University. He received his B.A. in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. He then earned his law degree from Fordham University School of Law. During law school, James was honored with the Addison M. Metcalf prize, which is awarded for outstanding scholarship, as well as the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. Further, he served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Fordham Environmental Law Review.

James has had a broad range of experiences that let him bring a special perspective to the firm. He has worked for one of the largest law firms in the country, and has worked for one of the smallest law firms in the country. He has also done legal work for the government, and legal work for non-profit agencies. He plays an active role in training the next generation of lawyers: he has worked with the New Jersey Law and Education Empowerment Project, where he taught underprivileged students in Newark about the intricacies of the legal system, and currently tutors aspiring lawyers in writing at Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
