Barbara Brosnan Rivera

Barbara is a RAM Law associate.  She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.  Her focus is on personal injury law, with an emphasis on insurance coverage, Personal Injury Protection benefits, Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist benefits, commercial and residential vehicle policies and premises liability.

Barbara graduated from St. John’s University, cum laude, in 1988 and from St. John’s University Law School in 1992. She was associated with private firms doing insurance coverage, automobile liability and insurance fraud investigation work from 1993 to 1997. Barbara was staff counsel for Harleysville Insurance Company’s northern New Jersey Litigation office from 1998 to 2003 practicing in the areas of premises and commercial vehicle liability and insurance coverage disputes. In addition, she has been an Adjunct Professor of Legal Research and Writing at Middlesex County College since 2002. She has authored several appellate briefs, including the successful appeal in Negron v. Llarena, 156 N.J. 296 (1998).

She is a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association.
