Arthur H. Miller

Partner, Arthur H. Miller, brings over 49 years of legal experience in New Jersey and New York to work for our clients. A Princeton University (B.A., 1957) and Columbia Law School (J.D., 1960) graduate, Arthur concentrates in the areas of bankruptcy, corporate law, business litigation, wills and estate planning, and probate.

Arthur was selected to receive the Middlesex County, New Jersey, Bar Association’s 1996 Lawyer Achievement Award. This prestigious award gives special recognition to attorneys whose activities have promoted improvements in and fostered public understanding of the legal system.

Arthur has served as Past-President of the Middlesex County Bar Association and of the Middlesex County Bar Foundation. He was a Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association from 2005 to 2010, and is a founding member of its Individual Rights Section and Consumer Protection Committees. For ten years, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Middlesex County Legal Services Corporation and is presently a member of the board of the Central New Jersey Legal Services Corporation. He has been a visiting lecturer in the Politics Department at Princeton University and continues to give lectures and seminars for attorneys on various law topics as part of New Jersey’s continuing legal education program.

In addition to serving as a volunteer attorney for the New Jersey American Civil Liberties Union, Arthur was recently cited by the District of New Jersey Bankruptcy Court for his service to pro bono clients.

Reported cases handled by Arthur include State v. Levinson, 225 NJ Super. 135 (App. Div. 1988); State v. Miller, 83 NJ 402 (1980); Ibelli v. Maloof, 257 NJ Super. 324 (Ch. 1992); Nappe v. Anschelewitz, Barr, Ansell & Bonello, 97 NJ 37 (1984).

He is admitted to practice law in the following courts: 1961, New York; 1964, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York; 1965, U.S. Supreme Court; 1966, U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit; 1969, New Jersey and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey; 1985, U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.
