Aronow Settles Ankle Fracture for $235,000
A RAM Law client slipped and fell on black ice at a car dealership in northern New Jersey. The dealership failed to spread ice melt outside of its showroom. While visiting the dealership, our client stepped on the ice, slipped and fractured all three major bones in his ankle. This type of fracture is known as a trimalleolar ankle fracture. The client under went an open ankle procedure which required the installation of permanent screws and plates to piece his ankle back together. Using its understanding of defendants’ civil case evaluation and before filing a lawsuit, RAM Law obtained a settlement of $235,000 for the client.
